When you have a business of any kind, whether it is a network marketing business or a dog walking business, there are a few things that you have to do to make sure that you are having success so that you can continue on with that business. One of the things that is common to every type of business, in every location and at every level is promotion. If people do not know who you are or what your business is selling, then what kind of success are you going to have?
The most obvious way to promote a network marketing business is by making sure that people know your name, your company name and your product or service as well as they know their own name. Get your name out there. Get all of the info that you can get out there- the more controlled, dedicated data you put out there, the more clients you attract, the more good people will come to become part of your network and the more success you will have.
Think of the old saying: birds of a feather flock together. With the correct promotion, you will just naturally attract successful people because successful people tend to gravitate to things that can make them yet more successful.
You know that buying ads and using conventional marketing techniques is a given but there are other ways of promoting your network marketing business as well. Some of these techniques won’t even cost you and can make you seem more human, more real in the eyes of not only your clients but your potential associates as well.
One of the finest of these free techniques is also one of the easiest way to produce and supply data. A press release, which you write or have written for you, gives the information that is necessary, puts your name out there and can be listed on the PR directories with very quick effort. Another tip is to use a blog to inform clients and potential network members of what is going on.
Another of the superb web promotion tools is Facebook. You should have two Facebook pages, including one that is a fan page where customers can go and "Like" you or your product and another which should be reserved for associates. LinkedIn is another good alternative, especially if you want to set the tone that yours is a very professional business venture. The benefit of all of these tools is not that they are free but that they have an established base and people know them- you benefit not only for the promotion but for being linked with them. See? Success links with success.
Drop me a line and let me know your thoughts, would love to hear from you.
